Punch Potpourri - botched technique attempt!

I was attempting a new technique which I want to do in August and it sooo did not work..so I just played a little (waste not, want not as they say..hence the stash!). This is what I came up with. I was really pleased with how this looks but the picture does not quite do it justice. I used Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Pretty in Pink and Pear Pizzaz for colors. The background is done with ink, Glimmer spritz spray (which I made with Glimmer paint and rubbing alcohol) and water. I stamped the images on my botched sheet and punched them out. I can see this in a class very soon..I just need to practice so that you don 't get as frustrated as I did with this technique :-) I have seen beautiful examples with this background on some blogs and it is definately scrapbook material! LOVE this card. I wasn't going to get this stamp set. Now I may have to. Need a wedding card before long and I just love this one. Thanks for the inspiration.
