We will be using reinkers for 3 different techniques. In the past month I have been busy at Home Expos and have been asked several times about reinkers so I thought this would be a great class! Babies seem to be rampant these days (which I love!!!) and so this is a card that I designed that can very easily be switched up for either a little boy or girl. It uses the Nursery Suite DP, Early Espresso and the Everything Nice stamp set. This set is very versatile and works well with markers! I am so glad that we have bling now!! I use them everywhere! The background is done with ink, Glimmer spritz spray (which I made with Glimmer paint and rubbing alcohol) and water. I stamped the images on my botched sheet and punched them out. I can see this in a class very soon..I just need to practice so that you don 't get as frustrated as I did with this technique :-) I have seen beautiful examples with this background on some blogs and it is definately scrapbook material! The white one I chose because I wanted to showcase the new in colors..which I love...and one of the new embossing folders..which the girls love! The second card was an emerging colors technique that is so fast and easy but looks really sharp. (Gloss paper, embossed images and sponge on some color..that's it) The 2 colors used here are Marina Mist and Certainly Celery (Manhatten Flowers stamp set). The 3rd card is a pure case from SU that I loved the moment I saw it and so did the girls. It is done on Peach Parfait and uses Crumb Cake, the new Greenhouse Gala DP and Friends Never Fade stamp set. All 3 were fast and easy..perfect for summer!!</div>Debbie Robinsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09228989908669284790noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7846513364271053273.post-42681802883185403722010-07-23T20:00:00.000-06:002010-07-23T20:00:01.321-06:00Notabley Ornate and Noah's 1st "wheels"<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipgQoyAtEQRHQgYczJf01xQZ070oAPLYFX1RtRlhP-BrJV2OfqBmDTEImFyXwvVwUr3CjUqHr9DBfiBcjlUm2QeE_M4s9BrLoATLzIibR0o-xh5zoOgKpprzwz6t3aqIaMOGiCj1zlkGA/s1600/IMG_2390.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496555851570345986" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipgQoyAtEQRHQgYczJf01xQZ070oAPLYFX1RtRlhP-BrJV2OfqBmDTEImFyXwvVwUr3CjUqHr9DBfiBcjlUm2QeE_M4s9BrLoATLzIibR0o-xh5zoOgKpprzwz6t3aqIaMOGiCj1zlkGA/s320/IMG_2390.JPG" /></a><br /><div>This is my page for Crop Paper Scissor's sketch challange this month. It is a perfect way to ensure that you get at least one good page a month done! I used a piece of SU Newsprint DP as my base. Embossed images from the stamp set Notabley Ornate in clear and sprayed Log Cabin Smooch Spray over the top ( and wiped off only on the images). The cogs are from some scraps of Mammarazzi paper that I had left over from a project using the new cog punch. Have a great Friday :-) TFL</div>Debbie Robinsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09228989908669284790noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7846513364271053273.post-28021400649951057572010-07-22T22:00:00.000-06:002010-07-22T22:00:01.377-06:00Watercolor Trio Swap<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaG49y5gO0bGT-sFHNx-JUaDCLIWTtnbkmrug5ebsx66Z3ay8UUb4xrreGqiCxsX93lIMEZiYGwnehPoNssr3UtAxz2drjNwZ91L1IG9VmO2qZ7kPxiOBBSMRriigNjXGLmrVYjzGzNiM/s1600/IMG_2278.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 240px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496548195338425554" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaG49y5gO0bGT-sFHNx-JUaDCLIWTtnbkmrug5ebsx66Z3ay8UUb4xrreGqiCxsX93lIMEZiYGwnehPoNssr3UtAxz2drjNwZ91L1IG9VmO2qZ7kPxiOBBSMRriigNjXGLmrVYjzGzNiM/s320/IMG_2278.JPG" /></a><br /><div>This is the card I created for my 1st ever US swap! The card design is from Split Coast Stamper's ( a weekly challange) and the stamp set is Watercolor Trio..one of my favorites and all the girls from my technique clubs are very familiar with it as we use the greetings from this set constantly! The background is sprayed with Log Cabin smooch spray..I also used this on the scrapbook page that will be posted tomorrow, Love this stuff..however I do seem to have a little added sparkle at my stamping station :-) I used markers for the flowers and stamped them off 1st before stamping on the small squares. Have a great day!..O how I wish I was at convention!!</div>Debbie Robinsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09228989908669284790noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7846513364271053273.post-51882964211680609922010-07-21T19:52:00.003-06:002010-07-21T20:02:31.044-06:00Faux Metal Technique Swap<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLsvS8XFK03bLcHfnMY4kRvMAPI8prZ1AVlY6py6f2eEljtnmwddHJpiXNylSqTCXeBxwotOPI-lPIiSMkoPlwxqFnJ_V1B0kcFCt116jC5xIcj-_2DqAKsQ9fdmv5prCRLCSKCy3FG1k/s1600/IMG_2219.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 240px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496542894630108162" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLsvS8XFK03bLcHfnMY4kRvMAPI8prZ1AVlY6py6f2eEljtnmwddHJpiXNylSqTCXeBxwotOPI-lPIiSMkoPlwxqFnJ_V1B0kcFCt116jC5xIcj-_2DqAKsQ9fdmv5prCRLCSKCy3FG1k/s320/IMG_2219.JPG" /></a><br /><div>This is a single stamp that Stampin Up has out in the summer mini. I used it for the faux metal swap to make a 10 minute masculine card. I embossed the motorcyle on DP and used tin foil in the embossing folder. It was a little difficult to attach without losing any texture. I have since tried it after attaching to cardstock and that works much better. I am attempting to load to my new blog...that is why the older project :-)</div><div>TFL</div>Debbie Robinsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09228989908669284790noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7846513364271053273.post-13325085683877151182010-03-25T20:14:00.000-06:002010-03-23T20:17:02.497-06:00Upcoming class cards<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXE6csWIR2AAwZ6PtVWlYVXCYB5hKqwrkQ5ESqLAkH3AP1BhaSM5MWVYtVeAbjLI_tCsLpcWm1lJrsGxy49i5o3Kvrd0LwqRKycw8Cl0eg06Ae7uDlfa3BCdoY1wjmVKDIiLKGuwtmuHU/s1600-h/IMG_1922.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 320px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5452018515275613378" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXE6csWIR2AAwZ6PtVWlYVXCYB5hKqwrkQ5ESqLAkH3AP1BhaSM5MWVYtVeAbjLI_tCsLpcWm1lJrsGxy49i5o3Kvrd0LwqRKycw8Cl0eg06Ae7uDlfa3BCdoY1wjmVKDIiLKGuwtmuHU/s320/IMG_1922.JPG" /></a><br /><div>This is a sneak peak of class projects that I have been working on...stay tuned!</div>Debbie Robinsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09228989908669284790noreply@blogger.com11
